Acrylic
This material is considered to be more upscale, which means it will typically cost you a little more. An acrylic fabric has a softness to it that creates a more subtle look. What sets acrylic fabric apart from the rest is the fact that the colors are added while the fiber is in a semi liquid state, which will keep the color from fading or washing out over time. Shade Cloth
This awning fabric is probably the most versatile out of the three. This is because it is designed specifically for the need of the particular awning and surrounding area. Shade cloth awnings can be made to have high outdoor tension and be weather resistant like the others, or it can be made with non UV coated mesh that’s designed more for the interior. There are a variety of different brands and colors to choose from as well.
